How to Manage and Edit Your Subscription


When an account is created it is used to montior and track your regular store purchases.  If you would like, you can also save your information in your account for future use. 

Should you subscribe to a monthly service or box, you would then use this same account to set up your subscription service so you can make changes and manage your subscription.  

The account you create has two parts consisting of a "store" side and a "subscription" side. Both are parts of one main account which contains all your information.  However, when changing the shipping address the information is located in different areas on each side of the account. This means you would need to update the shipping address in two areas of your account to ensure your packages for both store purchases and subscription boxes are shipped to the correct address. If your address is changed after a payment has processed, you must email SugarMuses with the new information so packages are shipped to the correct address. This is a manual process that customers cannot complete.

Please note: the timing in which a shipping address is changed is very important. It affects which address (old or new) is used to ship packages. Should an address be updated in an account after a payment processes (whether it's a new order or a renewal payment) the old address will still be used for shipment. The system uses the information that is currently on an account when the order/payment processes. For changes completed after this, the new information is used for all "future" orders/shipments.

To update the shipping address on your account you MUST update it in two areas. After signing into your account...

1) Select View Addresses located on the main page and update your address. This updates the shipping address on the "store" side of your account. If the new address is your "default" address, make sure to check the box to make it the default and save your changes.

2) Then navigate back to the main page and select Manage Subscriptions.  On the left side of the page select Subscriptions and at the top of the page you will find your name and address.  To the right of your address select Edit.  If you have multiple subscriptions, this must be completed for EACH subscription. This updates the shipping address on the "subscription" side of your account.  Update your information and make sure to save your changes. 

PLEASE NOTE: If both areas are not updated, the address listed on the account at the time an order is created will be used for shipping of that order.  This is how the system is designed and cannot be changed.

If your change is after a payment/order has processed, please email with the new information. Any existing orders( that have already processed) must be manually updated so orders are shipped to the correct address. If not, your existing (pending) order(s) will ship to the address on file when the order was created. Customers are responsible for obtaining their package from the old address should this happen.

Logging In

The login email is the same as the one used when checking out with the subscription product. To set the password, an email is sent out once the purchase is made, this will include a link to create the account.

Select the account or expand icon located at the top of the page and then select “Log In” in the side menu, enter the email and password used to create your account during checkout, then select "Sign In".



My Account

After signing in, you’ll be on the “My Account” page which contains account details.  It displays order history from both regular store purchases and any subscriptions ordered.  

If you signed into your account and are browsing the store, select "Account" in the side menu to gain access to your subscription account. You can then edit and make changes to your subscription(s).

Selecting “Manage Subscriptions” takes you to the subscription portal. On the Subscription Orders page options are available which you can view and/or manage areas of your subscription.  

This is also where you can change or update your Email Address.  Located directly under Subscription Orders is your address followed by EDIT.  Select "Edit" to be directed to the Shipping Address page.  Scroll down to the bottom of the Billing Address section where the email address is located.  Edit or update any changes here and then Save your changes.   

Selecting “View Addresses” takes you to the Your Addresses page which provides an option to Edit your default address for your store account.  This is not the "shipping address" for your subscription.  Follow the steps listed under the Update Shipping Address section below to change the shipping address for your subscription.



Cancelling a Subscription

In order to cancel your subscription, you will first need to log in to your account. Click the Subscriptions tab, then next to each of the products you are subscribed to is a Cancel button. You would use this if you would like to no longer receive this subscription product.

Note: If an account is cancelled "after" a payment processes, any boxes already paid for will still ship and all future boxes will be cancelled; cancellations must be completed before the 15th and not the day of.


Updating Billing Information

In the Billing Information tab you'll find the current method of payment along with the current billing address. However, this is not the same as the shipping address. You would edit the address in this section if something has changed for the card holder's place of residence or the email address on file


Skipping a Delivery

Once logged in, click on Delivery Schedule on the left to see all upcoming deliveries for your subscriptions. To skip a delivery you can click Skip to the right of each one.


Update Shipping Address

Once logged in, select Manage Subscriptons, Subscriptions and then click Edit to the right of the address for EACH subscription to make changes. This only affects the shipping/delivery address, this does not update billing information related to the method of payment.


1) The View Addresses section on the main page of your account is NOT for the shipping address for your subscription; it is only for your store account.

2) The shipping address must be updated before a payment processes. The system uses the address currently on file when processing an order. Changes made after an order has processed, do NOT update the actual order and it will still have the old address. Should the shipping address be changed after a payment processes, please email with the new information so the order can manually be updated. Otherwise, the order will ship to the address used when the order was created and the customer will be responsible for getting the shipped package from the old address.


You will be taken to a page where you can modify any of the fields pictured below.  Make sure to select "Save" when done with your changes.


Adding a Product to the Subscription

Once logged in, select the Subscriptions tab, then click Add Product. This will open a pop-up where you can search, view, and select additional products to add to your upcoming deliveries. You may also choose the frequency and first shipment date.


Swapping a Product

Once logged in, select the Subscriptions tab to view the current subscription products. On the far right, you can select Swap and select the replacement product.


Logging Out

To log out of your account, select either icon that displays on your screen to continue to the “Log Out” option.  Make sure all your changes have been saved before logging out of your account.
