International Purchases

Import Duties, Taxes, and Fees

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

Please check your shipping address and customs / duty fees before placing an order.

Customers agree all orders placed and products purchased with SugarMuses, is solely for personal use and not for resale. Customers also agree all products purchased are not to be repackaged or rebranded as their product for resale. Such practices could result in legal action resulting in financial penalties.

Shipping

We ship internationally to Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Europe and other select regions. Since there are restrictions on some products which cannot be shipped to international destinations, please make sure to check your region for any restrictions. Please note we do include essential oils, sprays, and herbs in our boxes and these items may delay shipment as they go through Customs. Item(s) allowed for domestic shipping may be restricted for international shipments in which these item(s) may or may not be altered or substituted by the merchant prior to shipment. Should any product be removed due to restrictions/customs/declarations, it is the customer's responsibility to work with the Customs to get your box. 

International shipping is a Flat Rate fee (First Class International Pkg) and is not insured. If you wish to pay for shipping protection for your order, please let us know so arrangements can be made. Customers may also choose to use Priority Mail shipping services at the rates provided. We are unable to guarantee actual shipment transit times for international orders.

We do not offer any exceptions, refunds, box replacements, or substitutions of product and you risk having product removed from your monthly box should these services be used. Customers will be notified should a package be returned to sender due to restricted items. Arrangements to reship the package can be made or a refund for the product cost only will be offered. 

Declarations

Declaration of actual price for all orders will be used on the customs form and requests declaring lesser value are not accepted. Customers may proceed with their order(s) or submit a cancellation request by email to support@sugarmuses.com within 24 hours of order being processed.

Freight Forwarder Companies

Use of a freight forwarder company shipping product from the U.S. to an international region not typically shipped to, it is the responsibility of the freight forwarder company and the buyer to handle processes of having the package shipped internationally.  Freight forwarder companies complete  declaration/custom forms; therefore, they are responsible/liable for shipping the product overseas.  Should any product be removed due to restrictions/customs/declarations, it is the customer's responsibly to work with the freight forwarder company to get your package.

We do not offer any exceptions, refunds, replacements, or substitutions of product and you risk having items removed from your package should these services be used. Customers will be notified should a package be returned to sender due to restricted items. Arrangements to reship the package can be made or a refund for the product cost only will be offered. 

Returned to Sender

We do not reship packages at our expense and it will be up to the buyer to have it reshipped if the package is returned for an incorrect address, or unpaid customs or fees, or not being claimed or picked up. Refunds are not issued for returned packages and reshipping costs are based on retail shipping rates. Should a product be returned, it is considered on a case-by-case basis as deemed "acceptable" by SugarMuses®, at which the following limitations apply: a restocking fee of 15% plus actual shipping charges will be charged for any shipment refused, unclaimed, or returned (returned to sender). 

International Customs and Fees & Returned Packages

Customers are responsible for paying any duties or custom fees for their own packages. Please check with your country’s policies before placing an order. 

If your package is returned for unpaid custom fees or taxes it is not our responsibility and it will not be refunded. The package can be resent at the buyers expense using current retail shipping rates. You will see the total before paying and payment arrangements will be provided.  

Again, as a customer you are responsible for looking into it and know if and any taxes or fees are associated with an item and making sure your address is correct.  

Please note that if a package is returned we do not reship packages at our expense and it will be up to the buyer to have it reshipped if the package is returned for an incorrect address, or unpaid customs or fees, or not being claimed or picked up. Arrangements to reship the package can be made or (if approved) a refund for the product cost only will be offered less any restocking fees.

Refunds, Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

There are no returns, exchanges, or refunds given on purchases, subscriptions, gift subscriptions, or one-time purchase boxes. All orders are final and refunds are not given for 'incorrect choices', 'change of mind' purchases, or for ‘exchanges’.  If a package is returned to sender by the post office or refused by the buyer, it will be reshipped at the buyers expense. Customers will be notified by email and have 5 business days to respond to make redelivery arrangements. We will provide you the exact shipping charges which can be paid via payment arrangements that we set up. No refunds are given for returned packages. Customers will be notified should a package be returned to sender due to restricted items. Arrangements to reship the package can be made or a refund for the product cost only will be offered.
